A local-first conversational Android alarm designed to help people move through sleep inertia into action, then learn which wake strategy works best for them.
Reliability boundary
AlarmManager and the Alarm Kernel own critical delivery, including Direct Boot recovery and local playback. Only after wake delivery begins does a deterministic Wake Runtime add voice, motion and local learning.
Intelligence may fail. The alarm may not.

Native alarm path
The critical wake path relies on native Android capabilities and AlarmManager rather than a cloud scheduler or AI process.
Local-first critical path
Speech and wake logic stay on-device where possible so network availability is not a prerequisite for a working alarm.
Native UI regression checks
Roborazzi and GitHub Actions help catch UI and build regressions before they reach the wake flow.
